Like the goldfish that has no hiding place, Aare (Dr) Alhaji Safiriyu Adebanjo Kazeem, Manag Director and Chief Executive Officer of SAF Petroleum, has risen to prominence through work, perseverance, honesty, and diligence. Born on 11th June 1955, he has always bel that there are no shortcuts to success, diligently preparing himself from an early age for,

challenges of life.

Upon completing his education, Alhaji Safiriyu Kazeem commenced his professional journey the Oil and Gas industry with an appointment at Total Oil, where he served from 1974 to 1) He subsequently worked with several other oil companies before becoming a dealer

Unipetrol at Ita-Oshin, Abeokuta.

The pivotal moment in his career came in 1992 when he took the bold step of establishing h own private enterprise. This endeavour led to the founding of SAF Petroleum Ltd, which toda

operates multiple filling station outlets.

In recognition of his outstanding business acumen and success across various huma endeavours, Aare (Dr) Alhaji Safiriyu Kazeem was awarded an honorary PhD by one of Nigera

prestigious universities.

A man of amiable and unassuming character, Alhaji Kazeem is a devout Muslim, a God-fearing individual, and a renowned philanthropist. His philanthropic activities transcend social ar religious boundaries, and he has consistently played significant roles in religious affairs and

community development.

Among his many philanthropic initiatives, he established a foundation through which he donated newly constructed ultra-modern science classrooms to Muslim High School, Ago Iwoye, and rehabilitated a block of classrooms at Ako Primary School, Oke-Ita, Ago-wo. among other projects. He has also awarded scholarships to numerous indigent students, bor indigenes and non-indigenes of Ago-Iwoye.

• As a committed religious leader, Alhaji Safiriyu Kazeem has made substantial contribution to religious causes and community development projects. In recognition of his service, he has been conferred with several chieftaincy titles, including:

• Fakharul Islam of Ijebuland

• Aare Musulumi of Idode, Ago-Iwoye

• Seriki Adinni of Odosinusi, Ago-Iwoye

• Aare Musulumi of Ago-Iwoye and

• Balogun Musulumi of Ogun State.

He has served as Vice Chairman of the Ago-Iwoye Central Development Council (ACDC) andisa member of several clubs, including Honourable Brothers Club, Lagos; Ikeja Golf Club; kep Country Club; and is a patron of numerous clubs and associations across Nigeria.

Aare (Dr) Alhaji Safiriyu Adebanjo Kazeem is happily married and blessed with children.
