The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, *Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya*, on behalf of the government and people of the Local Government express heartfelt condolences on the passing of *Chief (Mrs.) Lucia Onabowale Onabanjo*, the former First Lady of Ogun State and respected Matriarch of the Onabanjo family.
Chief (Mrs.) Onabanjo was a pillar of strength and a symbol of grace, who stood firmly beside her husband, *Late Chief Bisi Onabanjo*, during his tenure as the first Civilian Governor of Ogun State. Her contributions to the development of women and family values remain part of the legacies she left behind.
Her passing is a great loss, not only to her immediate family and Ijebuland but to the entire Ogun State.
We pray that God Almighty grants her eternal rest and comforts the entire Onabanjo family during this difficult time.
